Gabe
“Always remember I love you, Gabe, no matter what…” I remember those last words my mother told me. But that’s just a memory now. All just a painful memory- I felt my face get hot I pulled my hat down to hide the tears from my eyes. Kelly came over to me and put her hand on my shoulder.
“Are you alright?” I flashed a small smile but it didn’t last long. I started to whimper the words of my long lost mother, the one and only one who really actually loved me.
“She’s gone.” Kelly looked at me with a sympathetic look. I knew that look. It’s the look that she really cares about me. I gazed into her deep green eyes.
“GET BACK TO WORK!!!!” I gasped when I heard his voice. It was Derick, our manager. He was a big, fat, bald man with no sympathy for anyone ever. He smells like cigarettes and alcohol, and whenever he exhaled, I hold my breath. I really don’t want to work here, but I have to, just to make money. I really don’t have a lot of it, so I have to. It’s really disappointing, but stuff happens. I started to head home when Kelly asked for a ride. Of course, I said yes. I told her to get in the car, and then she turned on the radio.
“THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG !!!” She started to dance in her seat, and she looked nice doing so. WAIT did I just – no -NO-NONOONNONONONONONONONONONONONONONOONNONNONONONNO- NO. I turned off the radio.
“Hey! I was J a m m i n g!” I began to laugh. And then I laughed even louder. I guess that really helped me. Kelly helped me. I looked at her beautiful face. Her hair moved smoothly as she moved. Her Laugh always made me smile.
