There are three categories in the competition:
People, Animals, and Landscapes.
Whatever you’d like to draw from these categories, feel free to do so, but there are some guidelines I’d like you to follow.
The rules for the competition are simple:
- Keep it appropriate. If you didn’t already know, now you do. This is a school newspaper. So you know… keep your art appropriate.
- Your art is special! You don’t need to copy another competitors work, and you shouldn’t , because when you do your disqualified. Yay!
- Teams are allowed, yes, but please please please don’t sabotage other individual/ team pieces!!
- Have absolute fun with it! No need to stress and you can drop out anytime, just email me at [email protected].
Please submit your art by the Wednesday before April Break, which is April 17th, 2024.

Let your art teacher know about this, I’m sure they are glad to help you with anything you need at Extra help, on Tuesdays and Thurdays (best time to go) and at art club, on Thursdays after school, 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
