On November 25th, 2025, students from North Shore Middle School had to choose an activity for the day to help the community.
In the morning, each grade received breakfast from their teachers. The options to choose from were French toast, bacon and egg sandwich, or an egg sandwich. After breakfast, they called each grade separately to form their groups for their activities. There were many options to help the community. A few of the options were Raking A Difference, Cards For Hospitalized Kids, Visit The Animal Shelter, as well as Planting A Difference. For some of the activities you would bring equipment from home. For example, for raking a difference, you would need to bring a rake so you can participate. Other options included volunteering at the animal shelter, fundraising for foundations, beach clean up and more. North Shore Middle School Principal, Dr. O’Hara, said “SHORE Way Day 2025 was a wonderful success, showcasing the care and commitment of our students and faculty as they gave back to our community. I’m incredibly proud of their efforts, and I hope our students recognized the power of their actions and are inspired to keep working together to do good in their community.”
In total, NSMS raised over $5,000 for the Nicholas Pedone foundation. This is a great way to support our community and we can’t wait to do it again next year.
