At North Shore Middle School, students are celebrating World Language Week. World Language Week is where many students worldwide celebrate different people’s cultures and languages for a week. The reason why we celebrate this annual celebration is because when two people speak a different language, it can be difficult to understand them, which can lead to misunderstandings. To prevent this, we learn a little bit of others people’s cultures and we make little crafts in our Mandarin, Italian, French, Spanish, and Latin classes so we can hang them up all around our school next to mini flags. We also do a celebration after school to help celebrate this astonishing celebration!
